We recently surveyed our alumni members and asked them how their Kappa Sigma brothers have been by their side through life’s biggest moments, and many brothers said that they had brothers by their side on their wedding day.

Michael Alexander ’80 said, “Joe Bilber, Mike Malone ’81, and Kevin Propst ’81 were all in my wedding. I was in Trey Lee’s wedding on the same day I graduated from Tech. That was a logistics exercise. It meant a lot for me to have those folks in my wedding.”

William Bruner ’50 said, “Earl Bockstruck ’51, Ernie Sturgis ’50 (both now deceased) were in my wedding. They made me feel comfortable in this new ritual.”

Carl Owens ’50 said, “Jack Jones ’52 was in my wedding. It is better to have two of you instead of one by oneself. I took the same role in his marriage. Neither of us was the best man, we just made things happen.”
